The following general usage information in advance:
alea is a digital assistance system. The system only achieves added care value through the care staff presence and care staff motivation of the user. The alea app in the form of a device-independent visual user interface, which can be used both in the browser and on mobile devices, is at the centre of daily use. Depending on the care setting (care context), carers are the active user group for those in need of care (care recipients), who represent the passive user group. The alea app is the main component for displaying care-relevant status information - based on the data of the alea ward assigned to a care recipient and the corresponding alea clips
The following information about alea is therefore of central importance at the beginning:
-
alea is a system that is available without interruption (24/7) and enables real-time monitoring in all areas of application.
-
alea is a system for use with adult care recipients.
-
alea is a hardware and software system. It is based on state-of-the-art technology, such as the standards for automatic data transfer to the alea app and cockpit. These two components are used for user interaction and are based on the familiar operating logic of modern software applications - such as push notifications, intuitive operation and simple handling.
-
Care recipients do not come into direct skin contact with an alea system component.
The alea system can be used in the short, medium and long term, so that carers have a great deal of flexibility in its use. -
The alea system works optimally for care recipients with a body weight of less than 135 kg. People in need of care who weigh more can still use the alea system.
