Hardware and software in one system
The alea system consists of various components. In addition to the digital applications such as the alea app and the alea cockpit (which will be discussed separately in one of the following chapters), it is primarily the alea hardware components that establish an overall functional logic with the digital applications:
Interaction of the components
The alea-Clip, the alea-Dock and the alea-Router as well as the alea-Cockpit, the alea-App and the associated alea-Cloud, for which the alea manufacturer is responsible, are intended for use as a network and enable the management of the system, data transport and communication from data acquisition to the final user interface.
The included software components (incontinence algorithm, positioning algorithm, detection variables for falls and leaving defined areas) can be used in the components of the alea app for carers and the alea cockpit for senior care managers and all those involved in care within home care environments, as well as care settings such as all common forms of assisted living.
