Instructions for using alea-compatible incontinence products such as Seni Smart
-
If the person responsible for care is already a Seni customer, use the smart product group(s) for the alea suitable care recipients and the normal Seni San products for the rest.
-
Please read the instructions for use of the smart incontinence products provided by the manufacturer and/or the relevant supplier.
-
Smart incontinence products are ordered via medical supply stores, regional sales by Seni employees or (regional) sales and service partners for incontinence management.
-
This incontinence product is basically no different from the normal, familiar products. The only difference is a sensor strip applied to the outside, which has been covered with a textile layer so that the alea clip can be attached to it later.
-
After use, the smart IKP are disposed of in the same way as conventional IKP, as they fulfil the same environmental standards.
-
The sensor strip on the respective incontinence product consists of a film and graphite-like imprint (comparable to the lead of a pencil) and is not harmful to the skin, even if it comes into direct contact with it.
-
As a general rule, please note the relevant contraindications and limitations in the context of the use of incontinence products in general, e.g. careful examination before use in the event of suspected skin irritation, the degree or presence of incontinence itself, proper activation, and the use of fixation pants with open pads such as Seni Smart.
