2.2.1 | First steps

The following instructions are basically the same or similar for all care settings. In the following, we show all functionalities using the exemplary setting of inpatient long-term care (nursing home), as all functional aspects of all other settings are also included here (but not necessarily vice versa). Please take note.

General information

  • AssistMe prepares the individual alea cockpit online access and invites the main contact person by e-mail.

  • Additional users can be invited to the alea cockpit independently by the main contact person.

  • AssistMe is responsible for providing the alea cockpit and all relevant access and login information to the customer.

Status on delivery or delivery of all system components

  • AssistMe has assigned the alea clips to a corresponding alea dock based on the room and care recipient information of the respective care setting - visible and selectable in the respective alea cockpit.

  • With access to the alea cockpit, care managers can assign additional alea docks to the respective care recipients at any time - a care recipient is assigned to a personal alea dock. This can be viewed in the alea cockpit using the hardware overview and is also visible in the alea app.

  • The alea clips can be easily (re)assigned by inserting them into the alea dock. This enables clear assignment of the respective care recipient when using the alea clip on the ICP.

  • The correct use of alea is trained in detail with care managers, care management and all designated carers in the training courses on the general use of alea that are carried out in advance. Depending on the customer context, these training sessions are conducted online and/or on site. All training courses are based on digitally provided instructions that explain the setup and application to all users simply and clearly in the form of texts, images and videos. This enables users in home care, for example, to set up and use alea on their own responsibility.

There are always 2 active clips per alea dock / care recipient. If an alea clip is lost, a new alea clip can be automatically assigned to the care recipient by inserting it into the alea dock.
