3.1.2 | alea-Dock

General note

  • The alea dock is placed near the assigned care recipient. As it is equipped with Bluetooth
Low Energy (BLE) wireless network technology, it does not need to be placed directly next to the care recipient.

  • The best place is near a power socket and where the cable does not endanger anyone or interfere with daily work processes.

  • Use a thin object to briefly press the reset button in the opening on the underside of the alea dock.

  • Pressing the button triggers the same process in the appliance as removing the power cable from the socket.

    • However, as the cables and sockets are normally hidden so that the cables do not pose a tripping hazard, we recommend using the reset button.

    • Pressing this button in the event of connection and charging problems is the recommended method of checking and, if necessary, restoring functionality.
