Who is this function intended for?

  • All care recipients with a sufficient and regular risk of falling in the context of a need for care and with a tendency to fall can use this function.

  • The application can be short-term, but also routine-based and long-term.

  • People in need of care without a recognised or known risk of falling should be excluded from using or activating this function in the alea cockpit.

What does this function do and what does it achieve?

  • This function informs carers in real time whether a care recipient has fallen so that they can react promptly and provide assistance

  • The aim is also to prevent further illness, injury or suffering.

What do I need to bear in mind when using it?

  • Fall detection can be switched on or off for each care recipient in the alea cockpit according to the indication.

  • The application can be used in the short, medium and long term.

  • People in need of care who are not at risk of or prone to falling should not use this application.
