The alea clip isn't lighting up. What can I do?

  • If the alea clip does not light up when inserted into the alea dock, when removed from the alea dock, or when attached to an IKP, this indicates that the battery is flat or that the clip is faulty.
  • Occasionally, clips are not inserted fully into the dock and may therefore run out of power.
  • It is also possible that the power connection to the alea dock has been interrupted. Please therefore check that all cables are correctly connected.
  • Remove the alea clip from the dock and insert it fully again to charge the clip completely.
  • In the meantime, use the other alea clip, even if it has previously been used with a different IKP.
  • If the clip still does not light up after several hours in the alea dock, please report the fault to alea Support and exchange the alea clip for a replacement clip.
  • A new clip will then be sent to you.
