How do I receive notifications in the alea app?

If you are testing alea as part of a pilot scheme and have received devices from AssistMe, you will receive notifications automatically.
If you are using your own mobile devices: Please check the notification settings for the alea app on your mobile device in the system settings, or turn up the notification volume.

Enabling notifications on iOS

Go to your settings and scroll down to the customised apps. Tap on the alea app.

Tap on Notifications.

Ensure that Allow Notifications is enabled. We also recommend enabling both sounds and badges, setting the banner style to ‘Persistent’ and selecting ‘Always’ for Show Previews. This will increase the chances of not missing any important notifications.
