What should I do with the alea clip when changing the ICP?

  • Make sure you do not accidentally dispose of the clip along with the used incontinence product!
  • Place the used clip in the dock to recharge it; dispose of the used incontinence product in the bin as usual.
  • We recommend: Attach the fresh clip to the new incontinence product before you fit the incontinence product onto the care recipient.
  1. Remove the fixation pants.
  2. Remove the used incontinence product and fold it up.
  3. Detach the used clip from the incontinence product.
  4. Dispose of the incontinence product in the bin as usual.
  5. If necessary, clean the used clip and then place it in the dock to charge.
  6. New, charged clip from the dock and attach it to the new incontinence product.
  7. Check the connection: the LED light changes from flashing blue to green as soon as the clip is successfully connected to the sensor strip on the pad.
  8. Put the new incontinence product on the patient.
  9. Put the fixation pants on.
