The alea app displays the status with a delay or sends notifications too late. What can I do?
-
The system is designed to operate in near real time, meaning that there may be a delay of a few seconds or minutes between an event and the notification in the alea app (depending on the event or technical factors such as signal strength and internet quality).
-
If an event is delayed or not displayed at all in the alea app, it may be due to a lack of network coverage: If the alea Clip is outside the 20-meter radius of an alea Dock or an alea Router—for example, because the care recipient was outside—events will not be transmitted until the Clip is back within range.
-
In this case, the system will resend the data with a delay as soon as the care recipient is detected again by the alea hardware.
- If the clip was within range of an alea dock or an alea router, it may help to reset the alea dock or the alea router.
- If updates or notifications are delayed even after resetting the alea-Dock or alea-Router, please report this to alea Support, specifying the care recipient and the time of the issue.
